As you enter the front door of the cottage, the green of the trees and the sparkling light of the ocean jumps into your eyes.The 20-tatami mat living room with a high ceiling has a sofa, kitchen, loft, and a fireplace in winter, and is a relaxing space for families and friends. When you go out from the window to the terrace, you can see the sky and sea spreading out from the sea.You can luxuriously feel the comfortable breeze and sky flowing slowly in the jacuzzi and hammock swing. From the terrace, go up one more flight of stairs to the sky deck.There is only nature as far as the eye can see.The breathtaking scenery spreads out. The relaxed flow of the sea and fishing boats in Izu, you can hear the sound of birds in the creek.It's a great detox. Then, go down one floor to enjoy a charcoal BBQ while listening to the babbling of the river in the forest.It was delicious, fun, and a great memory. Limited to one group per day, it is a small building, so you can relax with 2-3 people. For the architecture, we use natural materials such as dirt walls with plaster walls, earthen rooms with grills, and bedrooms made of cypress from Mie Prefecture, so you can relax with peace of mind. A wood-burning stove is available during the winter months. Special acoustic wooden speakers can listen to music on records, CDs, and Bluetooth. You can also have a simple farming experience in the June farmland where you can grow pesticide-free vegetables.(Reservation fee required) You can fully enjoy the blessings of living in the city. You can cook by yourself using seasonal pesticide-free vegetables and Matsusaka beef at a nearby butcher shop. Private rental of a 130-year-old house with a traditional Japanese sunken fireplace, wood stove, and Goemon bath

This is a private rental inn in a 130-year-old house that the host renovated himself. In the house, there are thick beams that give a sense of history, a view that seems to go on forever, a traditional Japanese sunken hearth that feels nostalgic, a warm wood stove, and a Goemon bath outside. We hope you can feel the essence of living in the countryside while experiencing the slow flow of time in the countryside. For meals, you can bring in ingredients and cook them in the kitchen, which has an IH heater, fridge, microwave, and toaster, or you can grill the ingredients on the lava plate or in the Irori pot on the Irori fireplace. There is also a field behind the house, and depending on the season, you can harvest fresh vegetables and eat them as they are. There are two types of baths, an indoor unit bath and an outdoor Goemon bath where guests can light the fire themselves. The bedroom is tatami mats and futons. The bedroom has air conditioning for a comfortable night's sleep. Reclining chairs are available on the wooden deck, so please enjoy the view of the countryside.

"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)

Check-in time is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Due to other work commitments, I can't accept check-ins after 5pm, but I will do my best to accommodate check-ins before 2pm. Check-in is not possible on Sunday.(Staying and check-out possible) This is a guest house that is a 100-year-old Japanese traditional house that I renovated myself. The old house is 300㎡ and the field is 300㎡. Recommended for couples, solo travelers, and families.
