Monthly Rentals in Tohoku Region

We really enjoyed our stay at Takashi-San's guest room for our week in Sendai. It has a lot of space and was very comfortable. It was very clean and had every item we needed. The washing machine and clothes drying rack was especially helpful since we had already been in Japan for a few days. It is a little bit far from Sendai Station, which is where you will arrive in Sendai if traveling by shinkansen, but there is a bus stop right outside that services many frequent buses that go to the station and elsewhere. Sendai is a great launching spot for seeing the surrounding Tohoku area and this apartment was a perfect base.

staying here was easily the highlight of my trip! it was a fantastic time and i cannot wait to come back one day. i recommend renting a car to make the most out of your time here. the area is super easy to drive around and has beautiful landscapes.

Kuniko-san was the best hostess we’ve ever had! She made us a delicious breakfast every morning, let us relax under her warm and toasty kotatsu, told us stories from her amazing adventurous life, let us try on her precious kimono collection and even taught us flower arranging. Her English is also perfect. Thank you for letting us stay, Kuniko-san! We will definitely come again!

It's a great place to relax in a quiet setting. I was planning to cook, so the large kitchen and fully stocked kitchenware were very helpful.There is also a washing machine, so it seems like you can enjoy a long stay. I didn't use the outdoor BBQ area this time, but I thought it was very convenient for BBQ purposes as it was also equipped with a sink, kitchen utensils, and an outdoor toilet. Overall, it was clean and comfortable, and I was very satisfied.
