I rented it to visit the surrounding golf courses, but the inn was so good that the inn became the protagonist. It is a historic building in Japan, but it is very clean and even women can stay with peace of mind. The water around the kitchen, bath, toilet, etc. has been beautifully renovated, and the sauna, which can be said to be the characteristics of the inn, was very wonderful.

It was my first time experiencing a sauna at an inn I rented with airbies, but it was great to be able to enjoy the barrel sauna and water bath while listening to the sound of the river and birds chirping early in the morning.It is also fully equipped with amenities such as ponchos and sauna aromas, so you can just bring your swimsuit and enjoy it right away.The host told me more about the shops and places listed in the Airbie guidebook, and he politely gave me sightseeing information after checkout.It has good access to the bakery "Penny Lane", so I think it's a good idea to go shopping for breakfast.It is a stylish cabin, so you can enjoy a comfortable drink in the bar zone, and the bed sheets and futon covers were new and clean!

Our host was very responsive and had the entire space ready upon arrival. We arrived a couple hours before check-in and had no problems leaving our luggage in the space. We were able to use the host's bikes to explore the surrounding area and parks. The home is exactly as described with lots of character. We tried some very tasty local dishes in the Izakaya next door. After dinner, we relaxed with a nice sauna session (heated by firewood). Highly recommend! Will certainly book again the next time we are back in the region. Thank you!!

This is an amazing home and a wonderful location in the mountains. It is clean, comfortable, beautiful and has everything you could want or need for such a stay. The hosts were also very kind and friendly. Local recommendations were perfect, and I was there just in time to see the autumn leaves in the mountains. They also had great instructions for getting provisions before arriving. Overall, it was an amazing experience and felt so much like home, I did not want to leave!

Super convenient and just a one hour bullet train ride away from Tokyo to Nasushiobara station. My family and I loved it here. The property had everything we needed for everyday living, which made it super easy to settle in. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and there was a laundry machine too, which made the stay convenient while still having the luxury of a hotel villa design. The sauna and bathtub were great for relaxing, and we especially enjoyed the view of the forest. Waking up to nature outside the window every day was so peaceful. We were here as a family, and it was such a comfortable and cozy place to spend time together. The location was also nice – close to nature but still not far from local spots we wanted to check out. Overall, it was a great stay, and we'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in Japan, the perfect escape from from Tokyo.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfy, and full of personality. It was roomier than it looked in the photos with plenty of space for four people. The location is out of town and forested, very peaceful and relaxing which was what we were looking for. The host was prompt with communication and very helpful.

Had a wonderful stay.The room was clean and had everything we needed, and we had a comfortable stay.The host was also very responsive and flexible.There is also a cafe run by the host on the side where you can buy coffee or bagels.There are no large supermarkets nearby, but there are also daily Yamazaki and liquor stores at private shops.I'd love to go in the winter next time.

Takashi's cottage was top notch! Anything we can tell you about it is worth 5 stars! The architecture of the house adapts exactly to the wonderful surroundings. The decor is friendly, bright, modern, very clean, very chic and cozy! There's nothing missing. Takashi's charming wife was always ready to answer our questions. We spent two nights as a family of three, one friend and two dogs. The space was very comfortable and exactly as the listing. We enjoyed seeing stars, some monkeys playing around on a neighboring house, and having a nice BBQ while the dogs played in the big yard. It’s about a 20 minute drive to the nearest supermarket (Belc) which had everything we needed for the bbq. We will be back again for sure!

I was allowed to use it with 4 families.It was spacious enough for 14 people, so we had a fun time together.The facilities are very clean, fully equipped with cooking utensils, and all the BBQ sets, so you can go empty-handed.When's the next time you're staying?It was a good place to talk.Thank you very much.

It was very lovely honestly wished we stayed a little longer! Yayoi was so helpful whenever my boyfriend and I came without food she helped us get a taxi into town and back to the house! The cafe was food delicious especially their Apple pie so glad we were able to try it! Beautiful place, wonderful bath, and an amazing host, can’t get much better than that for a vacation home!

It was a nice place to stay.Thank you for your time. The facilities were clean and the bedding was popular with everyone. In the optional BBQ, they even cleaned up the fire and dishwashing, which was very much appreciated. The bath was clean but the drain was clogged up.But Mirabul (?), and I was very happy with the abundance of shower heads and amenities. There were also plenty of games, karaoke, board games, and more to enjoy with friends, which was really great!There was a rug with a karaoke microphone, so it was like singing together. (laughs) There were few buildings around, so I was excited. There are many trees, so there are a few insects, but they also prepared mosquito coils and insect spray right away, and the BBQ area has a mosquito net, which was helpful for me to hate insects. There was also a BBQ and a large bath at night, and in the morning, it was a great holiday with coffee and conversation around the fireplace. It was a great holiday. The staff's response was excellent, and it was nice to be able to talk about sightseeing spots and various things. I'm grateful for the encounter. I would like to use it again.Great! Thank you so much.

This original Japanese house was nicely restored and equipped with all necessary comforts. Our host was very friendly, helpful and communicative. We had a few wonderfull day's as we used this as a base. TIP:. Make sure you always travel via Oyama station and then take bus line 8, stop Naka-kominkan-mae to get to the address. You get off opposite the house a cross the road and then it is another minute walk.

A wonderful fully air conditioned holiday home suitable for a large family. 2 double beds per room. Quiet but convenient to local shops, dining and transport options. Great place to visit Eddo Wonderland from and close to Nikko Toshogu Shrine. Bathroom is only available downstairs and bedrooms upstairs, but we managed just fine. We loved the range of amenities and didn't need to take toiletries with us.
