We had the amazing opportunity to stay at Luz Maria’s place and what a treat it was! Such a cute house in a friendly village, we feel very lucky to have had the experience. We recommend the tamales that they sell in the square and also cenote cancun nearby, it has a diving platform and the kids didn’t want to leave!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Tizimín! The house is as described—spacious, clean, and full of charm. The pool was a highlight, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the main square with easy access to restaurants and shops. With well-equipped kitchens, comfy rooms, and thoughtful touches, this place truly has it all. A great experience!

Tuvimos una estancia increíble. El lugar es simplemente maravilloso, perfecto para conectar con la naturaleza y disfrutar en familia. La caravana está perfectamente equipada, no le hace falta absolutamente nada, y se nota el cuidado en cada detalle. Hay muchísimo espacio para recorrer, jugar y explorar, mis hijos fueron felices todo el tiempo. La piscina está genial y en las noches el cielo lleno de estrellas es un espectáculo inolvidable. Audrey y Sebastián fueron excelentes anfitriones, atentos y amables en todo momento. Fue un escape perfecto, lleno de calma, conexión y momentos especiales. ¡Definitivamente volveríamos!

Private Restored Hacienda With Its Own Cenote

Staying at Hacienda Kancaba was a dream. We planned an intimate wedding ceremony during our stay for 10 close friends and family, sight-unseen. The property is otherworldly, impossible to describe aside from saying there is certainly no other place like this on earth. Our guests flew in from many places and were annoyed by the drive from Cancun to Espita until we arrived at the property. After that, zero complaints. This is way off the beaten path, a portal to another era, frozen in time in idyllic surroundings. I kept thinking to myself: I cannot believe we get to occupy this gorgeous home; anything relatively similar in the US would be viewed from behind velvet ropes for an entrance fee. It is like if you could rent Monticello… And for whatever it’s worth after all the rest of that sincere gushing, pictures do this place zero justice. It’s ten times as pristine and beautiful in real life. A gem. I expect that I will never see anything else like it in my life.

Our heads are still spinning with memories of this beautiful place and the people. The property is a dream, lovely, safe, peaceful and quiet. We arrived by way of the Santa Rita turnoff at Ek-Balam, avoiding Valladolid. Signage to Secreto Maya is excellent. The guys and gals were sweet and friendly -- and fluent in English when our Spanish failed. I'm not sure who was cooking but they should be Michelin rated. Kept the dining open late just for us and a French family. Best cenote for swimming and diving that we have seen in Yucatan. So few people on a weekday that it felt like a private pool. (Apparently they skim it daily to please visitors even though the leaf debris is natural.) We'll go back, hopefully to renew acquaintances with our new friends, including Wera, the wonder puppy.

El lugar está hermoso, las camas super cómodas, el jabón huele delicioso, incluso el papel higiénico es premium. Hay agua calientita, buen WiFi, la terraza donde está la cocina es amplia y se siente mucha paz aquí y en todo el espacio. Mis amigas y yo fuimos genuinamente felices y en gran parte fue por el trato y la energía de las personas que fueron hosts. Los caballitos son un amor, no podría recomendar más la experiencia en este espacio con Andy. Muchas gracias ❤️ espero poder volver pronto.

En alojamiento se encuentra en una zona tranquila y muy silenciosa, perfecto para descansar. La limpieza estuvo impecable. Se encuentra cerca del Zoologico. El único "detalle" es que se encuentra un poco retirado del centro, si vas en auto no hay problema, sino toca tomar taxi, sin embargo los taxis son muy económicos, y es muy fácil de solicitar alguno por telefono, así que no hay tanto problema, sin embargo hay que considerarlo. El anfitrión fue muy amable y muy atento. La comunicación fue excelente. Sin duda muy recomendable.
