We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage, the pictures do not do it justice. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxed, peaceful getaway from it all. Linnett was a great host we contacted a couple of times with questions and had a response within minutes excellent communication and speedy resolution with any problems. Can’t wait to go back x

cosy, romantic cottage with hot tub

April-RoseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful Airbnb. The one-bedroom space was incredibly spacious and well laid out, with a super comfy bed that made it hard to leave in the morning! The private garden was huge and perfect for relaxing, especially with the hot tub—it felt like our own little retreat. The area is peaceful and quiet, which made the whole stay even more relaxing. Highly recommend for a cosy, private getaway!

Lime Tree Cottage new barn convention

AndyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Easy to find in a lovely location . Sam's communication was excellent . Sam's place was exactly as described but better . It was modern , exceptionally clean and with a well equipped kitchen . There was plenty of hot water and the bathroom was spotless . A fan was provided as it was particularly warm when we stayed . The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of plug sockets in the bedroom . Tv was better than expected , very big 55" with all the terrestrial channels you need and including Netflix , Prime , Youtube etc . Wifi was good . Overall the location and setting were excellent , all topped off with a Hot tub which worked perfectly . Highly recommended and we will stay again

Charming retreat with hot tub and lake terrace

KimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wood Cottage is absolutely beautiful. The house is well equipped and perfectly maintained. The setting is extraordinary with beautiful gardens with plenty of privacy and peace. Thanks to Samantha and Andy’s instructions it’s also easy to find, whereas the post code is a little more difficult. Their communication was proactive and timely, but not at all intrusive. The sauna, plunge pool and hot tub are a real treat, although the hot tub is a little temperamental in that we struggled to get some of the jets to work. However, given that is the only room for improvement we could identify on the accommodation, it’s clear that a stay at Wood Cottage comes highly recommended and we hope to return!

The Old Coach House, Wheatsheaf Mews

RebeccaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at the cottage was wonderful. The cottage was easy to find with its own parking. Instructions to get into the property were clear and simple to follow. The cottage inside was beautifully decorated and was welcoming and cosy after a long drive! Jennie was quick to respond to a message about the fire and had the problem sorted in less than 30 minutes! The cottage had everything we needed for a busy family of 5. The hot tub was a great bonus enjoyed by all the family! The cottage, being located right next to the five pits trail was the perfect location for us and was also perfectly situated for our visits to chatsworth house, the heights of Abraham and Bolsover castle. We had a great time and would highly recommend! hoping to return very soon!

17th century cottage in Matlock

TheresaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Photos do not do the size of the house justice, there is a lot of space for a family. A nice patio area but not dog secure (this was not a surprise though, Jane did explain this beforehand). On arrival there was milk, bread, butter and fruit juice not to mention the fresh fruit, lovely and welcome. The location is great, although on a main (busy) road, it didn’t bother us but there is road noise especially when warm and windows are open. The house has everything you need, very well equipped and comfortable.

Peak District village cottage with stunning views

TraceyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Attractive cottage and felt like a real home from home, with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely to wake up to the views across the valley and hear the bird song all around. a beautiful little enclosed garden at the back with 2 sitting out areas was just lovely to enjoy the sunshine and scenery. The very popular village of Youlegrave was a great location with shops for basic provisions, cafes and pubs. Great local walks and ideal for dog walks further afield. We enjoyed the local town of Bakewell and visits to Thornbridge House, Thornbridge Brewery, Haddon Hall, walked some of the Malpas trail and of course you can't miss Chatsworth. Fantastic stay for 4 adults and our dog

Chatsworth Cottage, Little Longstone

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Sam and Annie's cottage was a lovely location to spend 8 days as a family of three (including with a 9 month old baby). It included a large and very comfortable bed, a cot in a separate room for our baby, and everything needed in the kitchen to be able to make a meal. They were very helpful at making sure we had everything we needed for the baby (e.g. high-chair, baby bath, etc) and were very responsive to any questions that came up during our stay. The cottage is in a lovely spot, with walks right on its doorstep, and Monsal Head a short 5 minute walk away. The local pub is also excellent (ensure to make a reservation). We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Harry Eyre Cottage, Castleton, Peak District

DeanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely 4 nights stay at the cottage with our two dogs. The cottage was clean and we had everything we would need for our stay, including wood for the log burner. The enclosed garden was a nice place to sit and enjoy wonderful views and to watch the sunset with a glass of wine. Castleton is only a 15min walk along a footpath from the rear of the cottage and there are plenty of places to eat and drink in the village. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended 👌

Lovely Lavender Cottage Tideswell, Buxton

KatieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a lovely stay at Ruth's place. The cottage was easy to find and access. Parking was easy. Once inside, it felt cozy right away and we made ourselves at home - both my daughter and I settled into our rooms quickly then we went for an explore. Tideswell is lovely - nice shops and friendly people. The house's kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was clean and of a good size, the rooms were clean, and the WiFi worked well. We had everything we needed for the time we were there and wish we could have stayed longer.

Character Self-contained Cottage

JacquelineRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Perfect place to stay if you’re looking for peace and quiet but also ideally located for me to visit family and friends scattered within a twenty mile radius. Everything is there, in the the cottage, for your convenience. If I could make one suggestion however, for people like myself who have travelled from overseas, a small drop of milk to make tea on arrival would have been lovely. Such a tiny detail though and certainly did not detract from a lovely stay!

SnapTin - a lovely cottage in beautiful Bakewell

AngieRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Our stay in SnapTin cottage was truly exceptional. Helen was a wonderful host, the cottage was immaculate, stylish, comfortable and such attention to detail. It was like home from home, Helen had really gone the extra mile to provide everything, and more, that we possibly could have wished for. We loved everything about this fabulous cottage. It’s in such a peaceful location, but just a short walk into lovely Bakewell. Thank you Helen, I’m sure we will be back.

Lake Cottage -Peaceful relaxing Venue.

BenjaminRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay in Zeta's cottage! It was very cosy, with a comfortable bed and a well equipped kitchen. Having (private) access to the pool and sauna was especially great, and the rural setting was very pretty. The location also means easy access to Biddulph, Leek and the Peaks. Thanks Zeta for being a really friendly and accomodating host - we'd definitely come again!
