The wonky House is a perfect cozy option around Nanyuki. The house is small but has absolutely everything you need, especially a fully equipped kitchen, and the staff is super nice. Not too far from Sol Pejeta and Ngare Ndare. They were working on the road when we went, so it should be better soon, but even in rainy season, we managed to reach the house easily, just follow Anham’s instructions and not Google Maps! Absolutely recommended!

Great place to stay with children, we stayed with 3 aged 5,3 and 1 years old. The house is very nicely furnished and comfy. The fire place is quite special when relaxing at night. The garden is perfect for children to run around. There is a 24hr watchman at the house so security is good. External lights at night and good CCTV. Ivy was very helpful and responded quickly whenever we messaged. The house is literally 5-10 mins walk to ‘The Nook’ which is a great place to eat and drink and chill out with young children. There are two other really good places to go for food and drink within 10 mins walking distance ‘Shop 14’ and ‘Antonio’s Kitchen’. Ordering groceries or takeaway food is easy on the Glovo app and is delivered quickly. There is no uber in Nanyuki however you can get a taxi to pick you up and take you into town, which we did to go to cedar mall. The Animal Orphanage is only 15 mins away in a car and well worth a visit with children. We would stay again.
