“This guest home made our weekend away special, and it felt relaxing like home at the same time. It has an open layout with charming features that added to its modern character. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels for the hot tub and shower. The hot tub was a very nice addition and we appreciated being able to use it later at night so we didn’t miss other plans. Tyler was very friendly, quick to respond, and we would definitely stay again!”
My Tiny Cabin is located on 2.3 forested acres in a rural setting close to Portland and wine country. My home is located on the same property but trees and space between the two provide privacy. A ladder leads you to the upstairs loft with a queen bed and a skylight for a view of the treetops. A futon that folds into a comfortable full sized bed is located downstairs. The kitchenette provides a microwave, small refrigerator and coffee. Step out to the deck to cook on the propane grill.
“Nancy's cabin is super cute! Place is surrounded by green forest and active nature. Location is super easy and feels as though you really are out in the woods away from everything. Still super close to shopping and restaurants if you need. Parking and using the smart lock is super easy too. Nancy is a great host and quick to respond if you have any questions or need anything. The cabin is really cute and cozy. Plenty of blankets, towels are super soft and fresh, water gets nice and hot, tons of things to watch on tv, and really has everything you would need to be comfortable. Only thing is, keep in mind it is not a big space so think about what can fit in a mini fridge and there isn't a stove to do traditional cooking. We brought our own stainless steel pan to cook bacon and eggs for the propane grill. Worked just great! The propane fire pit is right outside the cabin and was great for hanging outside and keeping warm. Really is a great place to be! Thanks for our awesome and easy going weekend!”
This 850 sf. cottage is a century old, but was completely updated 10 years ago with era-appropriate furnishings, giving it a cozy (while safely modern) feel. There are many extras, from a wide array of breakfast goods to art, books, and a working indoor woodstove. It sits on its own half acre surrounded by gardens and trees. The owner's log house is behind on its own half acre, so very private for all. It's in SW Portland, ten minutes from downtown, close to Multnomah Village. It's quiet, great for working or vacationing, and the wide porch, outdoor fire pit, and gardens make it unique in Portland. Family gatherings, outdoor fires, children, and dogs* (+$60 at check in) welcomed! “Hidden Garden Cottage surpassed all of my family's expectations in every way. The space is comfortable and felt so much like a cozy home that my kids said they wish we could live there forever. The parking spaces are a short distance from the porch. There are gardens, a small lawn, a fire pit and plenty of wood around the cottage. Inside there are books, unique decor, and everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Amy thought of everything! She left staples like waffle mix and coffee, and included all kinds of extras, like everything we needed to make s'mores! There is a binder containing information about where to find items in the house. All of the appliances and cabinets have tags detailing locations of extra blankets, etc., and directions for use, when necessary. The binder also contains suggestions from day trips. Little extras were included, such as umbrellas, reusable bottles and coffee cups, some fleece jackets and warm hat. We had such a relaxing vacation there. Amy was friendly and promptly responded to questions. None of us wanted to leave. I hope that we have to opportunity to visit again.”
