Very nice place easy access to routes 4 and 100 with plenty of things to do

We had a wonderful & relaxing weekend here with a large group for my sister's lowkey bachelorette party. Even with a day of non-stop pouring rain, we were perfectly content with staying in and enjoying the coziness of the house. We had a blast watching the chickens roam around and hanging out with the overly-friendly barn cats while we sat outside. The goats & pigs were happy to greet us at the fence every time. The hot tub and pool were perfect! Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a beautifully scenic and peaceful getaway. Thanks, Sarah & BBVF team!

We enjoyed our stay. we felt at home. very spacious and cozy. this house has everything you need for your stay. Very close to Rutland. The fresh baked apple pie was a bonus. It was so delicious. Everything was perfect for us! Thank you! We will definitely be back again!

We had an amazing stay! The house is lovely and very comfortable, perfect for going skiing at mount snow and cross country skiing and prospect mountain. We were really glad to have picked it. The house is spacious, we all had a lot of room to ourselves, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The farm is gorgeous. Great grocery stores nearby. Sharon was amazing - so helpful when a winter storm threatened to make it hard for us to drive home. She offered us extra time or even another night discounted, which was really generous. She also communicated with friends to help us determine if the road back to NYC had been cleared. We are so grateful for her help! We hope to return in warmer weather to enjoy the farm even more.

Dan & Holly are amazing hosts. They provided everything needed to make our week great. They left dining recommendations and all of the information we needed for the property. It was the perfect space for our family. The on-site amenities were great. The pool space was super clean and the staff was amazing. The property is well maintained and we had everything we needed to feel at home. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. Downtown Rutland was a short drive, and there was so much to see just minutes from the property. Dan & Holly are extremely responsive and truly think of everything. We had no questions and checking in and out was a breeze because they are so thorough. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

We had a great time during our stay! The indoor pool was the real highlight—clean, well-maintained, and the surround sound music made it extra fun. The entire property was spotless and clearly well cared for. We even enjoyed S’mores at the outdoor fire pit. Chantale and Toni were incredibly accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Highly recommend for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

9 adults and 3 children all met up for a family weekend! We came from NY, NH and Maine! The house was perfect! Plenty of room to gather or separate! Even tho it was a chilly rainy weekend the kids managed to get in plenty of pool time! Tanya was very responsive and Melvin was the greatest! Our first morning he came right over to fix a slow drain. A fantastic location for a family vacation! The house was very spacious and comfortable and there was a ton to do (indoors & outdoors) in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The lake is peaceful and beautifully scenic surrounded by mountains, with a great view from the large picture windows in the living area. Kayaking and canoeing were great! Our son stayed at the Studio bachelor pad until his older sibling arrived and kicked him out; a perfect size for couple also. Close to Six Flags and Lake George. House was pristine. Great layout for family fun!

the place is awesome, my only critique is the main bathroom has a deep tub and I'm old, a grab handle to assist in getting in & out would have helped me

Fabulous place! Really a fun and one of a kind place to stay! Everything you need is right there making it an ideal place for overnights or travel but with more character and privacy than a hotel. Just be warned the bed is extremely comfortable and may require a xtra motivation to get out of in the morning :)

Gina was always lighting fast to respond and very kind and agreeable. The house was absolutely lovely, just as described and worth the price. Highly recommend!

We had three families in our group that stayed here for the Walls between the Waters festival. The walk to the festival was quick and easy making the location perfect for our stay. It was a very comfortable space with plenty of room for everyone and we loved having the hot tub available.

My wife, our dog, and I had a wonderful stay at Shyra's place. The home was clean, warm, and welcoming—our dog felt right at home. Waking up to stunning views of the high peaks from the backyard was truly unforgettable. Short drives to Schroon Lake and Ticonderoga. A great home base of you're looking to hike any of the Adirondack high peaks. Shyra was communicative and very responsive throughout our stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! This house was a great spot for our family of four (and our dog!) to base out of while skiing Gore and Whiteface and visiting Lake Placid. We enjoyed having lots of space and appreciated the modern bathrooms and kitchen. We also appreciated that the house is walking distance from the grocery store, shops, and restaurants. The grocery store in town is good and we had a fun dinner out at Sticks & Stones. The hosts were very responsive any time we had questions. Thanks for a great stay! We’d love to come back in the summer…seems like a great lake town!

Amazing place to wind down and experience the beauty of the ADK. Close to Lake George and all sorts of cool places in the area. However, even just staying on the property is great with a nice bonfire, grill, hot tub, and an awesome river right across the street to go fishing in. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a wonderful house for a skiing or winter vacation, which is why we have been coming back for several years. The house has all the conveniences you need for a winter holiday, and Gore Mountain is just 30 minutes away. Margaret and Tony went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and could make the most of our stay.

Beautiful Location Responsive and friendly Hosts Beautiful house, high tech bathrooms, ceiling lights, kitchen supplies to include the decorative pots, pans, silverware! Even the couches were soft and comfy! We enjoyed sitting outdoors the first day and lighting the firepit. The house completely matched the photos in the listing. Just amazing! We'll be Back!

We had a wonderful stay for my son's wedding, and although we were busy from morning to night. This was a beautiful home to come back to when we were done celebrating. Joann was responsive and gracious and we would recommend her house to anyone.

Our family of five just spent Thanksgiving at the lake house. Its size and layout accommodated us well - having the second frig became necessary. It’s a lovely place and stunning views from almost every window. Would definitely come again. Thanks!
