Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Thomas

From the moment we walked into the house, we were in love. The house is set in a private, wooded cul-de-sac and easy to find with the directions provided. The inside is open and spacious but still somehow cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed and all of the best quality. The town of Davis is a short drive away with some delicious little places to check out for meals. We also stopped by Blackwater Falls State Park, just a few minutes past the downtown area. Would definitely recommend this gem if you are planning a stay in the area!

We really loved our stay in this beautiful house with the natural surroundings. It was really nice to have lots of windows and doors to enjoy the natural lighting and the breeze through the trees. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were nicely done and had good counter space and storage for our stay. I loved having the closet and dresser in the primary bedroom, which allowed me to put away my clothes. The furniture and lighting was tasteful and added to our stay. The fireplace and sauna were nice accessories. The EV charger was wonderful for us to have and really made our stay much more convenient. We would 1000% stay here again!

Beautiful location with graat and easy access to the amazing towns of Thomas and Davis as well as the beautiful Canaan Valley and surrounding region. Zygmund was a wonderful host who took my numerous mistakes in stride working with me to resolve them. Communication was an absolute breeze. I highly recommend this location and host!

The home has lots of character and charming details. We enjoyed our time and loved cooking together. The living space is open, inviting, and relaxing. It was a great family atmosphere. The tree swing and fire pit were fun. The shower being on the first floor separate from the bedrooms upstairs was unexpected but didn't cause any problems for our group. Also, whoever sleeps in the tree house room should know they'll need to descend a ladder to use the bathroom. This house is super great and the mountains surrounding are breathtaking. We would definately stay again.

We loved staying at Mammy’s Memories so much we can back a second time. Very cozy well equipped house for cooking and recharging after long hikes with our dogs at Dolly Sods and Seneca Rocks. Hope to be back again next year!

We had a little problem! Not her fault! Had a storm and the electric went off. Sherry came right over with lights and was very helpful’ the kids enjoyed no electric for awhile and practiced chess! She has lots of games! We went for the Blue snd z gray Reunion! Great!

We always love this place. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay, so no review. Well, I got very sick as we arrived - went to emergency room in Ohio and admitted to Medina Hospital for 7 days. I'm on he mend and want to reschedule for later.

Staying here was an absolutely peaceful and relaxing experience. From the minute we arrived we felt more than at home, it was perfectly clean and felt very cozy. The extra touches of complimentary cinnamon swirl bread, popcorn and much more made for a very relaxing experience. It was great to spend some much needed time away hiking in some of the local parks. An absolutely beautiful location! I was able to watch the leaves change in fall while soaking in the deck hot tub. The studio apartment was perfect as my home away from home while on a travel nursing assignment. I had everything I needed. I was able to bring my roku and watch my TV shows while relaxing in the recliner chair. The shower is very roomy. I love that a washer and dryer was included. The only thing I wish it had was a toaster oven…but that is a luxury not a need. The stove, toaster, and microwave were perfect for my month stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to “get away” or working in nearby by Oakland, MD. The host is wonderful and very responsive.

Stay here! Super comfortable bed, quiet and safe neighborhood, 2 TVs, really cute special touches around, no complaints whatsoever! Easy check in with keypad, friendly host.

This is a very nice unit in a perfect location. It felt much larger than we expected based on the listing -- it is large for a 2 bedroom place. The front living room/sitting room area was very spacious and has super comfy chairs and couches. Lots of windows and light as well. Kitchen is modern and clean and has all the basics for simple cooking. Location is perfect for seeing Thomas without getting in the car -- coffee shop right downstairs. Lots of hiking options nearby. We will rent it again if we come back to Thomas. Debbie is a great host. Our car battery was dead when we were ready to depart, but she had someone helping us get it started within minutes. Above and beyond helpful.
