Stunning natural beauty with rock pools to explore, a decent surf break (and surf school)*, and all without the maddening beach crowds... *beach is not patrolled

This is a lovely patrolled beach near Akolele. You can drive there or if you want a bit of a walk along the coastline drive to Wallaga Lake Heights and park in carpark lakeside. Follow the walking track to Camel Rock beach 2 or 3kms . Track leads first to the mouth of Wallaga Lake ( where it opens to the sea) then if you follow track to the right you will end up at Camel Rock Beach. You can actually walk all the way into Bermagui if you are keen !
