Former Mozza lead Matt Molina has turned up the seemingly simple burger to 11, showing that it’s not always about stacking ingredients. It's a little over a mile walk through the Arts District - DON'T walk south to 5th Street and over, walk UP to 4th then down Santa Fe to Mateo - place has great nightly events, wine programs, excellent food, and comfy leather booths in the bar, as well as a HUGE back patio/yard with a bocce ball area and heatlamps. Feels like you're at your friends house. Or drive, they have a parking lot.

Polished cocktail spot with a backlit bar. Have some bar bites from burgers to baos.
