Great nature walks! Great bathrooms in office/nature center! Spend time walking through woods at Turkle Pond or check out salt marsh trails around Nature Center.
Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge Loop is a 1.6 mile loop trail located near Milton, Delaware and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Enjoy a lovely drive through the wildlife refuge. You'll see an amazing variety of birds and wildlife. Finish up with a walk across the dune and onto Prime Hook Beach. It's very peaceful and you may be the only one there! It's close enough to the ocean to be pleasant without the waves.
