The Templebar, The Old Store House & Oliver St John Gogarty’s best for live music. Beware the tourist trap. Although an iconic place with great pubs and music, you can pay up to 8 euros a pint. Doing rounds can hurt!
One of the most famous pubs in Dublin is the Temple Bar (established in 1840), famous for its location but also because it offers over 450 different kinds of rare whiskies (Ireland's largest collection). You can't miss this red building, it looks typically Irish and it is always buzzing.
Temple Bar is THE pub in Temple Bar, Dublins Pub District. It is fun and very big. That being said, it is very touristy and dear (you won’t find a more expensive pint than in this pub). So to protect your wallet I suggest to move on to another pub after a pint here.
