Visit the place where the famous Waitangi Treaty was signed in 1840. Learn about our Maori culture, see the impressive wakas (canoes) and experience the music and dance of the Maori people.
This is where the Treaty was signed. Forgetting the Declaration of Independence. A great site and cafe - don't forget to book a look at the Marae and be treated to a Haka. It's really good here
