Tips from locals
This “charming little place tucked away” in East Austin exudes a “cool local vibe” while serving up “strong drinks”, a surprising wine list and a “delicious” Eclectic menu (charcuterie, meze, sandwiches), plus a popular Sunday brunch; the dog-friendly, tree-shaded patio brings out “hipsters” and other characters, making for “incredible people-watching.”
Bar with great outdoor picnic table seating amongst the crape myrtles. (Indoor seating too.) Kitchen serves salads, charcuterie and cheese plates, sandwiches (the roasted beet/chevre/arugula is my favorite), and brunch on weekends for both vegetarians and carnivores. Brunch-time mimosa buckets are a great way to start the weekend.
Motorcycles and booze! Their food and brunch is worth checking out. Not the best place after rain, can be very muddy.
Cozy watering hole known for its global nibbles, dog-friendly patio & recycled wood & stone decor. Loud music, great food, hipster central.
