This Brewery originated in Morganton, NC, just over the Mountain, and now has two locations in Asheville where they brew and serve. The HBV location is not much to look at, but they occasionally have live music. check out catawbabrewing.com for line up.

This is a HUGE space on the up and coming South Slope of town. This what I call beer ville. There is a cluster of other breweries around here. It's a bit far to walk.
