The L Street Beach, M Street Beach and Carson Beach adjoin each other south of Pleasure Bay Beach, making up the longest uninterrupted stretch of beach in the Boston area - about 3 miles. Lots of family-friendly amenities including a huge bathhouse make this a popular place in the summer.

There are a few great spots to lay out near the water in Southie, but this is one of the best. Packed with a little bit of everyone. Get there early to scope out a great place for your towel or a beach chair. Bath houses are close by and there is a nice walking path that goes along the whole coastline
