Excellent breakfasts whether you want light coffee shop fare, or something more substantial like homemade eggs benedict or hash. Family friendly, great locals scene, strong wifi.

The ' Blue Dot Caffe and Coffee Bar' over on Encinal toward the Bay. . Here's a review I found on Google that you may find useful. Doctor G gave but 3 Stars. "Came here for breakfast. Certainly a different crowd that you find a your typical breakfast diner. For example, you just don't get French toast and eggs here like you might make at home, you get a fancy multi-layered crunchy toast with cinnamon and sugar. You don't just get eggs, you get organic poached eggs. The crowd at Blue Dot reflects the food. A white collar dining establishment instead of a blue collar diner.
