Historical waterfront Beaufort has lots of shops, restaurants, and more. Great place to get out and walk around. May even see some of the wild horses across the water.

Beaufort, NC, is one of North Carolina’s oldest towns (even older than New Bern!) and is about 45 minutes east. Try it out for great shopping, restaurants or visit the free Maritime Museum.
