Stanley Park is such a vast natural environment that it is easy to forget that one is in the middle of the city. This lush jewel has so much to offer: the scenic Seawall walking path, biking, beaches, swimming, and much more. The park also offers a number of activities for kids, including pony rides, water games and a miniature train. Older visitors will want to tour the spectacular flower gardens. Stanley Park teems with an amazing variety of wildlife. At least 500 species are known to live in the park. Some of the must-see landmarks: Lost Lagoon, Hollow Tree and Siwash Rock.

Beautiful park in the middle of the city you can spend a day exploring. You can rent a bike and bike along the scenic seawall. Stop by Teahouse for some food. There are many trails inside Stanley Park, a rose garden and Aquarium.

Stanley Park is a famous tourist destination for good reason. It is beautiful and as a local I'm still discovering new parts of the park. I'd recommend getting there by bike. If you head west on Alexander st. (two blocks North of the bnb) you will get to CRAB park, keep biking past it,(it's a bit of an odd route at first and you will actually go under the Vancouver Convention Center). You will reach a fork and should turn right, that will take you right to the seawall.

A visit to Vancouver isn’t complete without spending some time in Stanley Park. Go for a 10km walk around the park on the seawall or cut through and experience the dense vegetation the West Coast is know for, it’s up to you.

Great place to go for a walk, biking around the seawall (You can find affordable 2 hour bike rentals near Denman and Robson)
