Tips from locals
Great for diving, tubing, canoeing and swimming, In addition to the beautiful Main Spring, the adjacent Catfish Hotel is also used by divers.
Good for picnics, hiking, swimming, and scuba. There are many hiking trails through the woods or you can follow the long boardwalk through the cypress swamp out to the Suwannee River. Once the river starts to cool off in the winter you are likely to find one or more manatees up in the spring run. Swimming is not allowed when manatees are present.
