Restored huts from the Chinese gold mining era. Walk among the old village and read about the history, living conditions and personalities that lived here at the turn of last century. Lots of information panels in Chinese and English.

Make sure you visit the Chinese village in Arrowtown. It's just incredible what the hardy Chinese endured to get some precious gold from the Arrow River. While you're there take a stroll, or a jog if you are up to it, around the Anniversary Track which is a circular route down and around the beautiful and peaceful Arrow River.
