My sleeper pick for must see museums. You get a lot of info about stamps and the postal service, but you can walk away with your very own set of stamps as well. Very kid friendly.
The closest Smithsonian museum, with a massive and surprisingly fun collection of stamps and delivery vehicles. Free and open daily 10 am - 5:30 pm.
See America's Story told through stamps then walk across the street to see the more-than-100-year-old Union Station and be inspired by its beautiful architecture.
