Church (ruin) - A dramatic Medieval ruin on the Suffolk coast. Covehithe's quiet beach is about 100 m away. The coastline in the Covehithe area suffers from the highest rate of erosion in the UK and there has been a significant loss of land and buildings... So it is worth a visit while its still possible.

Covehithe beach sits at the end of the world, down a dead-end lane that literally falls off the edge of a cliff and beneath the dramatic remains of St Andrews Church. There is just a ruin, a farm and a quiet beach, reached across fields and backed by the tranquil waters of Covehithe Broad. Take the footpath 100m before the church and follow the field edge to the beach. [n.b. there are no toilets and the footpath is not buggy friendly].
