Very Nice atmosphere. Good food. Just be prepared to stay a while. The wait on service is sometimes slow.

Yummy "modern" soul food. I particularly like brunch--they have great blueberry pancakes--but it can get very busy and crowded. They don't take reservations for parties under 4 people so it's good to get there when they open for brunch. Dinner is a little easier to get a seat.

Situated on the corner of Malcom X Blvd & 122nd street in the lower level of a nicely decorated brownstone, the dining area is intimate with artwork, historic photos & news articles on the walls. The waitstaff were friendly, engaging and knew the menu well. The food is also amazing.
