During World War II, Julio Enrique Monagas Park was known as Buchanan's Powder Magazine for its 78 powder magazines (“bunkers”) where ammunition, weapons, and equipment were stored. These old bunkers can be appreciated during your tour of the natural trails that ends at a wooden lookout point with views of the metropolitan area and Old San Juan. The Santa Ana Environmental Center, La Sebastiana Equestrian Park and the K-9 Mounted Police unit are located in this Park. You can spend a day in the gazebos, mountain biking or with nature. Space to practice riding, with a stable area for horses. This park has an area of ​​93,0777 hectares and is part of the Carso Zone.
