Clapham has a large common that is quite nice for a walk around but tends to be filled with younger, sporty types playing rugby. Moens the butcher in Clapham Old Town is a proper old-school butcher that serves just about the best meat you can buy in London. Expensive but the quality is exceptional (if meat is your thing!) Clapham Old Town is a nice spot to walk through and you will find The Diary (a restaurant) there; it’s one of the best restaurants in south London.

In Clapham you will find it all! Family friendly parks, amazing restaurants and bars, a bustling high street and a fantastic common. It’s the most social area in London. Restaurants we recommend - Mommi - For the best Peruvian food. No 32 The Old Town - Where the young professional crowd mingle. Tsunami - The best high-end sushi on this side of the river. St Clair - If you like fish and ceviche, this is the spot. Trinity - Michelin star fine dining (make sure to book!) The Black Lab - the best coffee in Clapham. Nardulli - The best gelateria outside of Italy.
