Bowdoin College has a great art museum that is free and open to the public. Open 10am-5pm Saturdays, 1pm-5pm Sundays.

They have the most amazing exhibits that are constantly changing and it's FREE.

This is a wonderful small museum. Some fixed galleries. Some changing shows. To me, it's the perfect size. You can do it all not feel overwhelmed.
