The King´s trail “Kongevegen over Filefjell” from Lærdal to Vang recently won the EU Prize for Cultural Heritage. Several parts of the 100 km long trail are suitable for day trips by foot or bike. I recommend the scenic hike past Galdane, a well preserved old allotment cottage, and several marked gun positions from WW2. Park at Koret, walk westwards along the King´s road with a stop at Galdane, to Seltun, then cross the road and walk the old post road over Seltunåsen back.
