Where the tree that Jesus' cross was built from grew, is a medeivel monastery surrounded by a lovely green valley.

This Eastern Orthodox monastery may look like a majestic ruin, but it's still the home to a tight-knit community of monks. Built in the eleventh century, this hidden gem features a fascinating museum and absolutely stunning interior. After your tour, take a stroll around the romantic, overgrown grounds.

Take a walk with some drink and enjoy the view fo this beautitull monastery! The story says it that the monastery location is the place from which grew the tree that gave its wood to the cross on which Christ was crucified.
