Beautiful, shady, still walks amongst a cacophony of bird noises; to Reeves Channel; along the cliff top that looks out over channels, islands and Boole Poole Peninsula to Bass Strait; set with bird hides that look out over the wetlands. Heritage homestead and historical manager's cottage, BBQs and playground for kids.

This heritage park near Metung has a lovely picnic area, you can also walk along the cliff top area through the bush about 1- 2 kms to see beautiful views over the Gippsland Lakes

This old homestead is on the shores of the Gippsland Lakes, 10km from Lakes Entrance. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the picturesque gardens. Walk the bush and farm tracks with magnificent views across Reeve Channel and the lakes beyond.

Nyerimilang homestead is a 5 min drive from here which is open on weekends for Devonshire teas and on occassion open with displays of farm life of days gone by.

only 4ks from here in Nungurner. Take a picnic lunch or meat for barbeque at this lovely park. The Rose garden is lovely during the season and bush walks give you views of the Gippsland Lakes and there are lots of information boards about history, flora and fauna of the area. walk down to the farmyard to see how the 'help' lived and read the touching stories in the old farmhouse.
