The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Ferne Clyffe Waterfall Trail is a 2.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Goreville, Illinois that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. A moderately difficult 0.75-mile hike that begins a Deer Ridge Campground and also leads to the waterfall.
