The main feature is Cottonmill Lake. Fishing, boating, golfing, picnicking, walking trails, reconstructed prairie, the Nature Barn (with animals), and a trailhead for the 13 mi trail to Fort Kearney State Historical Park.

A truly lovely park that makes you feel like you aren't near a city. Lakes and mature trees with winding hiking trails capture your sense of the outdoors. Go on mini adventures collecting pinecones, and picking wild flowers.
