If you’d like to take in some history why not visit the People museum as you walk into town this is only a few hundred metres from the flat and on your walk into Manchester, worth a visit especially if it’s raining!
Amazing (free) museum, focusing on the history of people's rights. Fun, interactive displays (great for kids!) and interesting topics. Their short term exhibits are always brilliant. Nice cafe too.
The best place to learn about Manchester's industrial and rebellious heritage. A free museum, it offers some essential knowledge of the rich history of this city such as the formation of the trade union movement and the Peterloo Massacre.
Captures social history of the working people of Manchester over the years, Well worth a look, its free and just at the end of our street.
