Pynelogs features new artists frequently. The history of the building is unique. The building has moved around Invermere and once was a hospital; the morgue is in the basement. There are stories that the building is haunted; if you ask one of the staff members they may be able to tell you a tale.

This log facility is used as an art gallery and cultural center throughout the year with a gift shop featuring the works of local artists and artisans which operates throughout the summer season only. There is a cafe on site overlooking Lake Windermere which also operates seasonally.
