The Holmfield Arms is situated in Wakefield park and so it make a lovely rest bite after a stroll in the park. The food can be hit and miss to be honest. Sometimes I've had a lovely lunch and sometimes I've been disappointed.... don't get the prawn cocktail. Still, it's a nice place to sit in the quiet pub garden on a sunny day and while away an hour or so.
