Glenmont metro station is the RED line metro that will take you directly to downtown silver spring and downtown washington dc. it has also connections to go to virginia.

Glenmont Metro is a walk across the crosswalk. 25 min metro ride to DC. You can also park your car there for a fee on weekdays. It is FREE to park at the metro weekends.

This is the other metro station that we often take if going into DC. If you use it, park in the garage on the right of Georgia Avenue coming from Roundabout Hills, as it always has space.
