The owner of Zahav opened this hummus restaurant a few years ago. It is inexpensive and delicious with a limited menu. It can get crowded but you can also get your hummus and pita to go. Don't forget to try the frozen Lemontta. They are only open for lunch.

The best hummus you'll ever eat - it's all they serve here; a few new renditions each day. Stop by here for a quick bite and a beer if you are in center city.

Owners Steve Cook and Michael Solomonov just won the 2019 James Beard award for Zahav, their modern Israeli restaurant in Old City. Since you probably won't get a res there, try their hummus (with toppings) at this quick and easy Rittenhouse lunch spot.
