Very clean and pretty! Exactly what we were looking for, will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area. I stayed for a work trip but would love to come back with my family as there is a lot to do on the property!

Everything was absoultely perfect!! We booked the Queen Suite last minute since we were driving through the area. It was very peaceful! We were able to enjoy the pool in the afternoon and sit out under the twinkle lights at night listening to nature. The room was clean and had all the essentials provided we needed. I would definitely recommend this airbnb!

This was an amazing stay and both Lacy and Rebekah were amazing! Me and my mother were traveling to Waco for a Baylor graduation from Houston. Our original reservation was for a motel which we didn’t realize until the day of and with two females by ourselves we didn’t think it would be safe. Within the last two hours of our drive we were rushing to find a new place to stay. Which is where Lacy came in letting us know they had availability for our last minute stay. We got there a little earlier than our reservation and meet Rebekah (property manager) who let us know we could stay at the pool until our room was ready. It was far enough from Waco to enjoy the nature but about 15mins from Waco to enjoy the stores and restaurants. The rooms were amazing as well as the pool. There was also fun activities to do outside that was set up and some sitting areas. Everything looked exactly as the pictures. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to any and everyone!!

Our family vacation started out a little rough with another airbnb and location. Thankfully we found Vicky and Micky and they able to turn our whole vacation around for us. They were amazing host's! They answered all of our questions and helped make our vacation memorable.

Thank you to Isaac and Lois for a great stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. A lot of love and care have been put into the space, and it shows. The rooms have many thoughtful details to make for an extra comfortable stay. The room was perfect, and the common spaces were great. There is a shared deck overlooking the water that is great for birdwatching and relaxing. A common "cafe" that is open 24 hours has free cereal, coffee, a fully stocked kitchen, and laundry machines. Great location for birders visiting the valley, or for anyone looking to stay in a beautiful, peaceful location not far from town. We will definitely stay here again if we're in town!

Sarah’s place is amazing! She has created such a neat experience for her guests. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. Everything was very clean and worked well. We were last minute guests and she responded to us within a couple minutes after I requested to book. We will definitely be back in the future.

The Charmadillo is magic. We booked last minute to get away from the chaos and loudness of Austin and to reset our minds, thinking we were just getting a small cabin off the beaten path. Little did we know, the Charmadillo would offer so much more. It's hard to describe the peace we found there, or the beauty. We felt safe and secure there (even through a really gnarly thunderstorm). Check in was seamless, and we were met with a host of recommendations of where to eat, explore etc. The kitchen was phenomenal and the amenities all exceeded our standards. The sauna was my favorite, as the cedar and the steam healed so much of my anxiety I carried with me from the week. This place is amazing, and if you need an escape, the Charmadillo is the place to go. We will absolutely be back!

Had a great time staying in this adorable one-of-a-kind lodging. It was peaceful, quiet and loved watching all kinds of animals roam around. Truly recommend this place if you’re looking for a unique stay.

I can not say enough about Peculiar Nest, a hidden gem and so happy we found it. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sipping our coffee on the back porch garden area while watching the sunrise and a glass of wine with the sunset along with the peacocks. The community cafe was a perfect area for making our morning coffee, where you can bring in a few grocery items and cook breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen. While on the patio, the lovely owners came by to chat and gave us a brief history of the place. Look no further and book the Peculiar Nest now.

This was our first time here and definitely won’t be our last. There’s so much to do for the whole family. The kids loved fishing, swimming, and the paddle boats the most. We loved the cottage and the master bed was so comfortable too. Everyone is so kind and the service was awesome too. A maintenance man stopped on his golf cart while I was walking our dog just to pet him and give him a dog biscuit. We can’t wait to go back. LOVE this place!!!

The Study Butte was even better than we were expecting. The room was lovely and the host was generous with extras. We loved it!

The cabin and resort was exactly what we needed. Beautiful property and cabin, lots to do on the property. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We plan to return.
