Thank you very much Stephanie for letting my family stay in your beautiful home, it was perfect, as is the location, which is peace its self. We have been to the Charente several times previously and the region never disappoints but this was our best trip to date, in which the accommodation played a big part, a great experience and one I’d recommend. On this trip we managed to do the velorail from Confolens station, which is well worth a try.

Craig and Nicola's gite was lovely, in a very peaceful location and has a lovely pool, the property matched the photos and was a great size for the 4 of us. Both Craig and Nicola were really helpful, responsive and even brought us freshly picked produce from their garden. The area is quite remote, so you definitely need a car to get around but its very easy driving to lots of beautiful locations, and in the closest village there's a small shop, bakery, bar and a couple of other amenities - but you'll need to check opening times. We did get a little lost getting there as Airbnb location wasn't correct, ask the owners for the what3words reference as that took us straight there once we had it. Fab stay and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful property in a beautiful location.

Everything was PERFECT from start to finish. Christine's welcome was just great, this is the first time a person has also taken care of us.

We have just had a wonderful weeks holiday staying in Bridget and Sean's lovely gite. Bridget and Sean were great hosts, they were very friendly and gave us lots of help with suggesting places to visit. If we are ever back in this part of France again we wouldn't hesitate to stay with Bridget and Sean again. Thank you Bridget and Sean we had a great time .

Warm welcome from Jean-Marie in a very clean accommodation with a decor with the charm of the past appropriate to the style of the building. Very quiet and relaxing place. Lots of small touches and breakfast with pastries on our doorstep. What more could you ask for? We would recommend without thinking it.

welcoming hosts, Judith handmade lunch for us on arrival and the fridge was stocked with some basic groceries. We loved relaxing by the pool and the gite itself was well equipped and very comfortable.
