Joe and Susan’s place was the midcentury home of my dreams. The wooden everything and the view makes you feel very cozy. You can tell this home is very original! With that said, I did notice some random bugs and flies that would be coming in. And my group always closed the door, but still would find some at times. Just something to keep in mind! Otherwise our stay was great. Instructions were clear so didn’t have too many questions.

As we passed through the apple, pear and cherry orchard’s, we could see that we would climb the hill and have a fantastic view. We enjoyed the night sky and found the studio to be better than described. Bring you food and enjoy the full kitchen they have made available. They really have thought of everything and provided fun extras for the kitchen and bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable. Easy to feel at home.

We had a lovely one-night stay while traveling between Mt. Rainier and the Methow Valley. The unit was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed using the hot tub at night. We stayed on a Monday night in early October, so the tasting room had limited hours, but we were still able to squeeze in a tasting before we departed and enjoyed the wine offerings. Highly recommend this if you’re in the Yakima area!

We enjoyed staying at Joe's place. It was perfect for our family to have a get together. There was plenty of room for us all to be cocomfortable. We will definitely stay again.

If you are looking for a good base camp this location is perfection. Extremely quiet, easy to get to major roads. Close to Goldendale to visit museum, observatory. Beautiful secondary roads that lead to fabulous vistas. Nice outdoor seating and really enjoyed our morning and evening stroll of the orchards with our dog Sophie, Sophie gave the orchard 10 stars. Night sky viewing is a must! Kitchen was very, very well stocked. I saw a blender, mixer, instapot, wine glasses, good supply of coffee for Keurig, a generous assortment of spices, etc. If you prefer quiet, uninterrupted night sleep and a beautiful, private walking area this is the best value you are ever going to get. We really enjoyed our stay.
