The Owls House

ChristelleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a treasure this place is. It's not just beautiful, peaceful and extremely homely - it's loved, full of stories and life. Shane is a perfect host - kind, responsive and dedicated to providing a lovely space. Even better is that he built it himself - so every little part has a purpose and a story. He knows each tree in the garden. There are peacocks, hares, deer and birdsong. Some places are meant to make people smile :-)

Beautiful grade 2 listed cottage

JayRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved our stay here. The malt house was beautiful inside and out. Katriona and Rupert were both really friendly and helpful and made our stay great. Loved the hot tub which was made all the better for the beautiful surroundings it is set in. The garden was incredible. The house was comfortable, clean and really relaxing to be in. We’ve stayed in a few nice air b and b places now and the malt house is by far the best. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and only left the house to visit Charlecote Park which is only across the road. Cannot recommend staying here enough. We had the best time and came away feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Would be 6 stars across the board if it was an option! The only negative was our stay felt like it came to an end far too quickly. Big thanks to Katriona and Rupert.

The Garden Terrace

JacquelineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We’ve had a peaceful and happy time at Jane’s Garden Terrace. We made excellent use of the soft lush lawn to play games and relax, enjoying the sun beds and table and chairs. The beds and such are comfortable, the kitchen has most of what is needed but hot water in the kitchen was not available. The shower over the bath has to be used laid down or crouched over so would not suit a person with mobility issues. Lovely decking area and hot tub. Jane was super friendly and most kind. We wanted a rural location for a girls catch up and this accm delivers exactly that.

Luxury Escape to the Country “Holly Barn” - 1 Bed

EllieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at Holly Barn was amazing. The hosts came and introduced themselves and helped us with the best local spots. The booklet in the barn shows you the best eateries, pubs, walking spots and much more! The gardens are lovely with animals and plenty of room for dogs to wander and keep busy! It felt like home at Holly Barn and I would definitely recommend and return!

Luxury Private Country Retreat With Hot Tub

SeanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just spent a very relaxing 4 days at Coal's view. The pictures on the site are lovely but in reality they don't do the place justice. It is such a beautiful home, everything that you need for a relaxing break. The space is so well thought out, lovely comfy bed and huge bathroom with the free standing bath and separate shower. The hot tub is one of the best we've had at an Airbnb and we made use of it every night, even when there was a bit of rain about. Being able to sit and read in the garden area in the late warm spring afternoon was a joy, my wife totally chilled on the hammock. Tom and Louise live next door to the property and we're really responsive with check in details and also when we contacted them during our stay. Such a lovely place and hope to be able to visit it again.

Charming retreat with hot tub and lake terrace

KimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wood Cottage is absolutely beautiful. The house is well equipped and perfectly maintained. The setting is extraordinary with beautiful gardens with plenty of privacy and peace. Thanks to Samantha and Andy’s instructions it’s also easy to find, whereas the post code is a little more difficult. Their communication was proactive and timely, but not at all intrusive. The sauna, plunge pool and hot tub are a real treat, although the hot tub is a little temperamental in that we struggled to get some of the jets to work. However, given that is the only room for improvement we could identify on the accommodation, it’s clear that a stay at Wood Cottage comes highly recommended and we hope to return!

Writer's Lodge Cottage Bishop's Castle Shropshire

We had a wonderful short stay at Writers' Lodge. We knew from the photographs that we were in for a good stay and we weren't disappointed. The cottage is absolutely charming and very well equipped. Bob and Caroline are excellent hosts and have obviously put a lot of thought into making the visit as comfortable and relaxing as possible for guests. The homemade cake went down very well too and was a lovely welcoming touch.

Luxury Renovated Barn Conversion

MargaretRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Absolutely fabulous stay. The property is a stunning renovation, very comfortable with a lovely open kitchen to the courtyard where the dogs popped in and out. Lovely comfortable beds and linen and fully equipped kitchen. What's not to like? Peace and quiet, interesting dog walks over the fields and stiles and great location for outings to the Cheshire countryside and North Wales. We were well organised to cater "at home" which was great since the setting was lovely, but a lack of local shops may not for everyone. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. It ticked all the boxes. I would add Kate and Marc were very helpful responding to messages and queries.

A quirky cottage in quiet rural Shropshire

ChristinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We (a group of friends) had a wonderful and peaceful stay in Genevieve's cottage. The cottage is in such a relaxing location, set among mature trees and a wild garden, with chickens and cats roaming. You feel really immersed in nature and we immediately felt relaxed. The cottage is extremely comfortable and kitted with everything you could think of needing, including additional touches like dressing gowns! We were welcomed with fresh milk, butter, cake, homemade jams and fresh bread, thank you so much! The location was excellent for access to local walks and we enjoyed walking up to the Stiperstones. We also walked down to the Stiperstones Inn and had lovely fish and chips. We enjoyed relaxing in the cottage, listening to the extensive folk collection and catching up. Thank you for your hospitality and welcoming atmosphere and great communication throughout Allan and Genevieve. Christina and friends x

Weavers Cottage, Mocktree Barns, nr Ludlow

Fantastic value for money. We stayed in Weavers Cottage, 2 adults and a dog. Cosy and welcoming. Had everything we needed. Yes, the shower pressure is low but it did the job. The courtyard is lovely, especially as it was sunny. Loved watching the birds. The walks are great and highly recommend The Lion for dinner. The info pack Andrea provided was amazing. We left feeling totally rested, thank you. PS the bottle of milk on arrival was a lovely touch.

Lovely flat, as described, in fact I’d say better than. It’s very spacious. Comfortable and very well equipped. Janice had kindly left biscuits, tea, coffee, milk. Walkable to pubs, museums and walking trails. The little garden is sweet, lovely scented roses. We went to several of the museums, we bought the pass which covers you for the local museums. Also, listen out for owl hooting at night. Very peaceful & restful ~ stress free. Thank you Janice x

2 bed stylish cottage - 10 mins from Alton Towers

LouisRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This is the third time using Airbnb and Sally’s cottage blew all expectations out the window. In the lead up to our stay Sally was amazing with an initial message as well as helping to fulfil any requests and questions. On the day of our arrival we had plans to meet some friends on the drive up to Alton and Sally was more than happy to accommodate a really late arrival. Instructions to the cottage were spot on even with it being a tricky location. Once we arrived to the cottage we walked through the door and had a welcome basket with lots of little treats and bits for the morning as well as a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge waiting for us :) The house was spotless and very homely, we were extremely happy with what we paid for. During our stay Sally would drop a message occasionally checking in and helped with any questions and queries. Sally service was excellent and I can’t fault her on anything. I highly recommend staying with her.

The generous welcome basket and milk in the fridge were appreciated and the kids will remember their ride across the fields for a long time! Thank you Kirsty and Chris.
