Guesthouse vacation rentals in Tavira

We had a great time. The place is peaceful, very safe for our 3 and 6 year old children, who spent their time observing animals and playing with the available facilities, really allowing us to rest. Our host was not only very welcoming, but also extremely caring, always there to give advice and let us taste the products from her garden. The place is on average a 10-20 minute drive to beautiful beaches. Not only do we recommend this place, but we might even come back...

The place was great! There's nothing wrong with it. The supermarket, as well as the park is near. Breakfast prepared a very nice lady in the morning and was completely sufficient. Overall a great stay. Happy to come back! :)

Highly recommended, the only downside is that there are neighbors with dogs who may be noisy at some point, but otherwise everything is perfect, charming place

The accommodation offered by idalecio corresponded well to our expectations and photos received. A big thank you to Idalecio for hosting us... his explanations in French as well... the information provided as well as a 20/20 for the maintenance of the accommodation and especially the garden which is beautiful with these colors and varieties of succulents or cacti. A great compact room inside a well run clean hostel. Breakfast was amazing and free.

Location was easy to find. Street parking only which was a little difficult to find but not too bad. Check in was confusing. We we instructed by the host to call a specific person when we arrived and she would let us in. We called that person but she was not very helpful. When we got in, there was confusion. Another woman who was outside assisted us but she did not know we were arriving. It was all a bit odd. Regardless, she was friendly and helpful and got us to our room. The room was very clean and quiet which was wonderful. The host property is located in a residential community so it’s relatively quiet. They also offered a nice continental breakfast as well. It did appear that the room was not built to permit and the bathroom shower enclosure was very small. But other than that, it was clean and quiet, which we appreciated. As you leave the residential neighborhood, there’s a small café on the corner where you can grab a quick bite to eat if you’d like. Close to beaches, etc.

Very nice renovated townhouse. Pretty apartment with 4 rooms, 3 upstairs on the 1st floor and one downstairs on the ground floor. I had the "Mar-Suite with a small terrace and your own bathroom upstairs. Kitchen well equipped and everything was very clean. Adjacent to the kitchen, there was another small terrace. Upstairs there was a Roof, with the view only on houses. The apartment was a little too loud for me - despite side street. But since the windows were quite good, you didn't hear anything when the windows were closed. For cooling off, there was also air conditioning that worked excellently. Good starting point to walk in about 10 min to the harbor. Train and bus station right around the corner, ideal if you don't have a car. Cafes/bars are abundantly within walking distance. I would recommend the property without hesitation. Olhao is a beautiful little town, I felt very comfortable there. Good restaurants were plenty to find. Rui and Andreia are very kind and helpful landlords.

We are totally delighted with our (too short) stay in Sarah's beach cabin. Everything is perfect. The accommodation is just a 2-3 minute walk from the beautiful Praia da Faleisia beach and a few meters from several restaurants, bars and 1 small, very well-stocked supermarket. We enjoyed the very comfortable bedding and the bathroom equipped with everything you need (hygiene products and +, hair dryer, and towels (small and large). We enjoyed the small beach bag with sun products and beach towels. Sarah also allowed us to leave the accommodation in the late afternoon, our return flight being scheduled for early evening. We'll be happy to go back.

We started our Portugal vacation at Rita's place. Rita's warm way of welcoming her guests made us feel right at home. The accommodation is furnished with a lot of love for detail and even had a booklet in which Rita had compiled recommendations for activities. We also had enough space to start the morning with some exercise on the terrace. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Very functional and pleasant room. An en-suite bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, 2 towels, shower gel and soap. The house is very beautiful and the small inner courtyard is very nice. Breakfast is included in a small "pastelaria" nearby, freshly squeezed orange juice, toast, coffee/tea and small "pastel de natal" or others to take away if you haven't managed to eat everything. I would recommend this place for a stopover, it's very nice.

We had an amazing stay, the place is great, we loved the pool space and the bbq was a great final touch! Thanks for everything ! Definitely coming back if we are in the area !

The apartment is beautiful, with terrace and balcony. Top location, only a few minutes to the dream beach. The furniture is all new and very stylish. Everything is perfectly equipped, in the kitchen all conceivable kitchen helpers, pots and co. are available, for the terrace a drying rack, grill, garden lounger, seating area and a water hose to free your feet from the sand. We felt very comfortable and can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

The host is super kind and friendly. Answered all the questions, super helpful when it comes to local recommendations. Our room was clean and very spacious. Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner but overall very nice accommodation. Would definitely stay again and recommend it.

Kristin’s Airbnb was perfect for our small family gathering—private, quiet, and beautifully serene. The secluded location let us enjoy the village while still being a short drive from other busier communities. She provided us with fantastic restaurant recommendations we loved and was always super responsive to messages. The property was stunning, just like the photos, even in poor weather, with a great pool, open green space, a playground, and a pond. Kristen was a wonderful host—kind and thoughtful. She added plenty of children’s items as well that made our stay stress-free and extra enjoyable for our kids. If I’m ever back in Portugal, I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Only spend one night but is definitely recommended it. Close to train station and walking shops. House has everything we needed and more!

We really enjoyed the place. Having a kitchen was a big help plus. Continental breakfast was delicious and plenty to eat. We felt right at home.

Thanks to Hendrik and Nathalie for offering this little piece of heaven! This is a unique place with a unique atmosphere! A breathtaking view of the city, away from noise but close to everything (by car;)) Their dogs Thaiko and Bruno are lovers and have sublimated this vacation! The house has all the comforts you need to have a great time with family or friends. A place to live a real break THANK YOU!
