“10 out of 10! Do yourself a favour and book this property! Beautifully furnished, warm, homely and impeccably clean! Exceptional value for money. Nothing has escaped Marzena and Rob’s attention with special touches throughout -even bird seed to feed the local lorikeet’s. They responded to my messages so quick, super friendly and had everything covered. The photos are good but its so much better in person! We were lucky enough to extend our stay as we enjoyed the place that much. We will be coming back. Thank you so much for letting us share your slice of heaven =) Cheers Tahnee, Kirst, Bella & Butch”

“Rusty’s is a well designed, thoughtful space, with everything you could ask for on holiday. A lovely bush setting and 7minute drive to local beaches. Liz and Brian were very welcoming and had lots of local knowledge to share. We also enjoyed the visits from puppies Mindy and Inca. Would recommend a stay is this well equipped tiny house... enabling you to live life simply.”

“Fantastic spot! I would recommend staying here with children over 3. There are large gaps in the hand railing on the deck which a child could fall through (over 3 meters high). So either don't bring kids or be prepared to make sure the doors are locked at all times. The loft area was a great bonus! We were pleasantly surprised. There are a lot of bugs. But it is a bush setting so this is going to happen in any house. After hours service was average. Not passing on my messages to the office. But the staff in the office were all fantastic and lovely. The bed in the main bedroom was a bit soft. If your not used to this be prepared to be uncomfortable. But this is just a matter of preference. You will be surrounded by birds, who often come on the deck for a visit. It's truely lovely. The lake access is a bit of a hike with young kids. Be prepared to drive for lake access. Highly recommend a visit to sandbar especially if you have a 4x4. Get a permit and drive on the beach on the sandbar between smiths lake and the beach. Such an amazing spot! The shops in town are so well priced. Sometimes even beating big supermarket prices. So support the small guys! There is a liquor store, general store, bakery and cafe. The fuel in Paciffic palms (between smiths and blueys) was also cheaper (by 10c) than Forster. ”
