For singles/couples looking for a semi rural one-bedroom cottage to escape to, with excellent motorway links, also popular with professionals seeking an alternative to a hotel room. The cottage was a stable back in the day when the house was named Horsley Cottage in the 1800's. The homestay includes a log burner, underfloor heating, microwave, slow cooker, coffee machine & bathroom. There is a dining table which could be used as a workspace, lounge & first floor bedroom. You’ll love my place because it’s 5 mins walk to the centre of Duffield with its pubs & shops & 10 min train or bus into Derby or Matlock. A 30 min drive to Ashbourne & Wirksworth. The house is being renovated so is a little hectic but these rooms are in a separate annex & although not perfect are comfy. Its good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families &pets. We have a dog, cat & children & welcome those with or without.
