Hiroshima, Mihara Guest House

SimonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
One of the nicest accommodations I have stayed at yet. We would have loved to stay there longer, but had other plans unfortunately. The host is incredibly supportive and helpful. We were even able to come one day earlier than we had (mistakenly) booked. I fully recommend staying here.

GREAT VACATION ~ Pet-friendly house with dog run, Goemon bath, and pizza oven ~

MiyukiRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We enjoyed the large lawn dog run, pizza oven, and barbecue♪ There was also a refrigerator in the yard, so it was convenient not to have to go in and out to get ingredients and drinks for the barbecue. The bathroom and sink were clean and, most importantly, the water pressure was great. The sunset from the Takamineyama Observatory was beautiful, and it was nice to be able to walk to the coast. The host was also very kind and told me about local recommended spots. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance!

Omishima Private & Magical Edo Period Island Villa

BenjaminRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Staying at this traditional Japanese house was an unforgettable experience. The home is full of charm, beautifully set up with thoughtful touches that made it both authentic and comfortable. The peaceful garden, tatami mats, and wooden architecture created such a serene atmosphere. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. Having coffee in the morning at Diane's place looking at the mountains on one side and the gorgeous Seto Sea on the other was worth the trip to Omishima all on its own! I highly recommend this special place for anyone wanting a true Japanese stay in a beautiful setting!

Limited to 1 group/First island of Shimanami Kaido, Onomichi-muka Island, 1 unit rental * Sea right in front of you! 6 beds, oceanfront

暁子Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
We enjoyed staying in a very nice location with an ocean view right in front of us. The weather was bad, so I gave up on the BBQ and cooked indoors, but I was very grateful that I was able to cook without having to buy anything extra because it was very well stocked with cooking utensils and seasonings. There were children's toys and books, hammocks and a theater screen, and lots of exciting things for children. It is an old house that is being renovated, so there were some places that felt old, but it was kept clean and there were no particular problems with the facilities. The key is handed over directly by the staff, so you need to tell them the check-in time in advance. The parking lot is diagonal, so it's hard to get big cars in, but if you don't BBQ, I think you can fit them in the garage.
