Monthly Rentals in Taishi, Ibo District

Great location, only a few minutes walk from the Himeji Castle and the train station. The host met us to make sure we knew where to park, and showed us around the property. the restaurant right below was very delicious, but people were rather loud until pretty late at night, but this was somewhat expected considering the location. Plenty of space inside the apartments, and although the stairs were rather steep, it was good preparation for climbing up the castle.

My only regret is not getting to stay longer! This home is so beautiful and there are trails through the forest right outside the door. The beach is a quick walk away, as well as great food and friendly locals. The windows make the room such a treat to relax in and all of the accommodations were perfect. The host was super helpful in getting us checked in. The stairs are a bit steep, as mentioned, which was not a problem for us, but please be aware if stairs are not for you. I wish I could’ve stayed for a week!

We had a fantastic time with my parents. The place was peaceful, very charming and felt authentic. It was easy for us to go around with our car and visit the many spots around the island. At dinner time we enjoyed the barbecue and felt at home 😊

Himeji was a really interesting spot to have as a “home base” while traveling this part of Japan and Souq was a beautiful place to stay. They had everything we needed and it was very comfortable. The stairs up to the second level are a bit steep, so they were a little tricky for our 3 year old, but we managed and the space worked well for our family! We appreciated the close location to the station. Would stay again!
