I had a great week staying in Stephany's apartment. Self-check in and check-out were easy. The wifi was excellent throughout my stay, and the shower had good water pressure and hot water (that is, if you do want to take a hot shower in the sweltering Villahermosa climate!). Air conditioning worked well in the bedroom, as well. I really loved the location - Near downtown, but in a safe, quiet residential area. It's less than ten minutes' walk to a big park and to the wonderful Mercado de la Sierra - try salbutes with shrimp at San Judas Tadeo,or the pozoleria (that's pozol, not pozole) inside the market. Now a few minor complaints: The apartment was mostly clean, but one of the bedrooms (the one I didn't sleep in) had a strong musty smell when I checked in. Stephany seemed really nice, and we had good communication via chat app, but she didn't respond so much on Airbnb. Still, it was a very good stay overall, and an excellent base for getting to know a great, underrated city.

Excellent place, very comfortable and with a good location. Good recommendations on where to eat. The Dantesca is very nice. The bed was very comfortable.
