Monthly Rentals in Taarbæk

We spent 3 nights in Taarbeck and got to know our way around pretty well! We didn't have a car, but were able to catch a bus at the end of the driveway and be at the Klampenborg train station in about 5 minutes. If you miss the bus (which we did once) you can just walk to the train station-- it's about 15-20 minutes but it's on a private path behind all the houses so is a nice walk. On weekends the bus runs hourly (or did when we were there) so plan accordingly, or plan to just walk to the train. Be sure to walk up to the Hermitage and then to the Bakken amusement park -- it's a wonderful walk, with horse-drawn carriages passing along the way, and a sweeping view of the sea from the Hermitage. The house itself is elegant and easy to live in, beautifully decorated and modern. There's a little restaurant nearby, and a self-service grocery but you need a pass to get in. (The locals would let us in if it was locked.) Highly recommended!

It's a great week. Accommodation is super nice and fully child-friendly. We wouldn't have needed to bring toys ourselves. You only need to walk across the street to the sea and nothing stands in the way of a round of swimming at all times. Sandy beach can also be reached quickly by bike, which was also a hit with the children. By train, you can reach Copenhagen in 30 minutes. Wasn't a problem at all for us either. Above all, the area is super quiet. On foot you are also right in Bakken. Many prefer the amusement park even the Tivoli in Copenhagen. The adjacent forest is also worth a walk. Overall it was a super vacation. Thank you for the great accommodation!

Lovely house in Taarbaek - bigger than expected and with everything we needed. The place is a little way out of Copenhagen and is quite a long walk from the station, but that was explained to us in advance and we wanted to stay locally because we were visiting family nearby. The house is very close to the sea and the (huge) royal hunting grounds so there are lots of nice walks nearby. The hosts sent very detailed instructions and we were able to check in really easily. We didn’t need to ask them anything during our stay.

marvelous place to stay, in a very walkable area, 5 min by walking around to a Metro station that connects to the Centrum and Airport, the host was always there for anything and the space is wonderful and very fashionable but also confortable, definitely i’ll come back
