Family-friendly vacation rentals in Surbiton

We really enjoyed our time in London. The airbnb is located in a fine area, walkable and close to bus and tube stops. Any store or restaurant you may need is close by. The unit has 2 bedrooms and the bathroom is roomy and good. The kitchen allows you to prepare meals. There was a party next door and the neighbors were loud and obnoxious. But that's the nature of living close to each other. Thanks Reggie, your place worked out well for us.

We had a wonderful Christmas week at Flagpole Cottage. The hosts' home was clean, welcoming and extremely well-equipped. We had everything necessary for preparing family feasts, having a wood fire, plenty of bathrooms and comfortable beds. Robin and Francine even left a beautifully decorated real Christmas tree for us the enjoy (and put our presents under), a very thoughtful touch. We enjoyed the hot tub and trampoline (we were lucky with the weather, cold but not rainy) as well as the local walks to pubs. We bought our Christmas turkey (ordered in advance) at the fabulous Flower Farm shop, which is nearby and is a great source for all things edible. Robin and Francine's guide to local amenities and activities is thorough and quite useful. Robin was very attentive and open to queries but everything was so clearly laid out we didn't really have any questions. One last thing - the gardens are exceptional - even in December! I was in awe - especially the topiary. The old yew trees! xx

Our family of four had an amazing weeklong stay at this lovely Airbnb in Hammersmith! The location was perfect—quiet yet close to shops, restaurants, and excellent transport links, making it an ideal home base for exploring London. The home was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, giving us plenty of space to relax after busy days in the city. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to other families!

Carol Anne and Kelly were great hosts, kind and helpful. The apartment was very nice, equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable. The location is excellent, very close to the subway and buses, the neighborhood is great. We had a great time, thaks a lot.

We really enjoyed our stay in Debbie's flat. It was spacious even for 6 people, with a lot of commodities around. Debbie was reactive and gave us a lot of recommandations. The borough was quiet, with some supermarkets nearby, some pubs and restaurants. It's a 25 minutes walk to Camden Town and same to the British Museum. From King's Cross there are a few subway lines that can get you anywhere. A very good stay!

Absolute lovely place in a quiet area of London. The flat is exactly as described and it has everything you need for a short or long stay. Totally recommended, would love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was clean, cosy and exactly as described. The location was perfect – quiet, yet close to everything we needed. Janet was a wonderful host: friendly, helpful and easy to reach. The bedrooms were comfortable, and we really enjoyed relaxing in the whirlpool after long days out. The bungalow was a lovely place to stay. We were staying in Watford as we were going to the Harry Potter experience. It was close by. One day it was raining we weren’t sure what to do with the kids we ended up going to climb up in a shopping mall near by. It’s also local to supermarkets. The place was spotless clean bedding and towels etc. pull out bed for the children. We were going to take our dog and then didn’t because of the long drive but I wish we had. Jan looks after dogs like a doggy day care. Our little dog would have loved it.

'Exactly what it says on the tin'. When my family of 3 generations (aged 5 - 95) 6 adults, 2 children arrived we felt that we already knew the property, so accurate were the descriptions and the photographs that Jubed has supplied. Communication since booking (a year in advance) has been excellent, friendly courteous and comprehensive. A wonderful 3 night stay. I would highly recommend this property. Quiet neighbourhood and yet easily accessible to Central London.

We had a lovely stay at the farmhouse. Old Tudor, packed with character and the surrounding area is stunning. Local pubs in close proximity which serve lovely food. All in all a fantastic stay

A great place to stay and Hala was a lovely host who was very good at communicating. 3 of us stayed here for the Windsor horse show. It had everything we needed and was very nicely kitted out.

Kaz is an extremely friendly and responsive host . The house is lovely and spacious with a lovely outdoor area . Everything you could possibly need is provided and the house was fresh clean and comfortable . The area is quiet . We were attending my son’s wedding and were a family group . The house was perfect for our needs and so nice to be all together . Nothing we didn’t like . Many thanks

Julie,s place is great for a short break. It does have a lot of personal items in, which wasn’t an issue for us. A couple of the beds were doubles but not really suitable if you are a larger size person. Check in and out was easy. Overall would recommend

Sam and Tim (and Wilf) were fabulous hosts. Very friendly and helpful as well as offering great ideas of where to eat with our dog and where to walk. There is a great little 20 minute walk around a large field, ideal for quick morning and last night walks (take a torch if dark). The cottage was ever so cute and was very comfortable. We booked it as I was doing a big charity night ride between Windsor Racecourse and London (and back) so we wanted to be closeby after the finish. I slept so well in the bed, it wa comfortable with bouncy pillows and duvet. You can hear aeroplanes by Loop earplugs made mincemeat of any noise and I slept soundly in the afternoon for a pre-event nap and then again from 4am onwards. We took HelloFresh meals and were able to manage using the kitchen equipment on offer. The shower was good and the layout of sofas upstairs was lovely as we ate downstairs then retired upstairs. Toast (our dog) was able to nip out and do wees in the courtyard area on the soil.

A little gem of a place! Don't let the exterior fool you! It's homely, peaceful and just a home from home once you are through the door with a cuppa in hand and slumped on the sofa! I could of hapilt stayed for weeks! The flat is within walking distance to Battersea Park (5 minute walk) and Chelsea (15-20 minute walk) which was perfect for my solo trip to see Chelsea in bloom. There are some great free parking spots local to the flat which is great if you plan on coming by car! The area felt safe and welcoming and I had no issues walking to and from the flat even quite late at night. The bus stop is round the corner and takes you to all the great spots in central London! The highlights from my stay were being welcomed by a beautiful bottle of red wine, the amazing shower that I struggled to get out of as it was just so relaxing and the ambience of busy London in the background whilst I read my book next to the fire wrapped in a blanket! I will definitely be back!

Quaint little house in a quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful outdoor garden space. Everything provided, including some food items in the well supplied kitchen.

Emma was very welcoming as we arrived. She showed us around and gave us perfect advice on how to get into town. The cabin was perfect for a weekend away. We found a swing attached to the trees and had great fun. The bed was like a cloud and the kitchen had everything you need. Would recommend to family and would stay again.

Jodi’s home is a great place to stay. We were going to a wedding at Hackney Town Hall and could walk easily there and to the restaurant afterwards. It’s also beautifully located looking out at London Fields. The home was well provided for, we had everything we needed and so much more. We loved the decor, there was so much to see and read. We had such a lovely family stay at this beautiful pool house! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The space was spotlessly clean and well-kept, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. Carmel was absolutely wonderful—so kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed before we had even arrived, which made our stay even more special. The highlight, of course, was the pool! It was stunning and incredibly relaxing—perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy. Whether we were swimming, lounging poolside, or just enjoying the peaceful surroundings, it truly felt like a slice of paradise. We had a fabulous long stay in Susan’s house. The house was perfect, spacious and homely and in a great location near Clapham high st and Clapham common with lots of nice shops, parks and close to lots of public transport. Susan was very welcoming and responsive and went above and beyond to make us comfortable and help us during our stay.
